  • Does it mean what I think it Means?

    This weekend was great! Fantastic!!!!:)

Mr AD spend both the days at my house ( my mum was around so no hanky panky).

SO on Saturday while we were in the lift to my flat Mr AD suddenly started talking serious stuff.

He hugged and said ," PF I cant put to words how much I love you. I will one day express exactly how much. ".

Me:"I love you too Honey , more each day ".

Him: PF....*about to say something and then stops *

    Me; what? What?

Him:" nothing ... nothing.. I will tell you someday, when I am strong enough to do so".

Note: what does this mean? what? what?

Me: hmm Ok take your time * the tone was more like tell me now * :>>

    He then simply said

Him: So when are you meeting my mom?

    Me: err anytime you say

Him: Okay so I am giving you advance warning. Next week you are meeting my mom. Not everyone gets advance warning and I am giving you one. *smiling*

Me: umm OK sure next week sounds great *GULP*

Well and on Sunday He took me for a short drive and when we were returning home for dinner ,i got a call from my very good friend who happens to also live close by. She and her husband were at my house.

I told Mr AD that he canexpect interrogation and big smiles and meaningful glances(directed at me) when I land home with him there .

He was pretty cool about it and so when i was at the door my Friend R opened the door and even before I could introduce Mr AD to her.. She was introducing herself(with wide grins) and her Husband and son.

He was very confortable with my friends and even they felt totally at ease.

Infact my Friend R called me today to tell me that " Mr AD & I look cute together" and that He fits in so well with us.

I obviously have told MR AD this . He was also equallly interested in knowing what my friends think of him!!!!

he even played along when their 4 year old launched himself on Mr.AD(he later told me he was totally uncomfortable with kids because he doesnt know how to talk to kids) hehe !

    Whew!

PS: my friends called my bro while they were at my house and told him that my "friend" Mr AD was also there and my Bro instantly comments" the one who drives Ford Flair"? Apparently there are Spies who keep tabs on me. How else will Bro know the make of Mr AD's car when he has never even met him??? I am guesing its my friend R who is the big blabbermouth.:>>

    *keeping fingers crossed*

  • Never Mess with a New mum

I believe all the stories about fiercely protective mothers and Hormones etc.

I live in a big apartment block of 4 flats per floor and 7 floors(I live on the 7th ).

We have a bunch of rowdy youngsters (4 boys and 3 girls) who live below us on 6th floor.

on Wednesday these folks at 6th floor decided to get drunk and play really loud music since 3 PM and didnt stop.

There is a lady who lives right across me on 7th floor and has recently(3 months ago) delivered a baby boy. Due to the loud noise the poor baby was unable to sleep and kept getting cranky.

She knocked on my door a few times and we called the building committe /security incharge to come over and ask the youngsters to stop the lound music( this was not the first instance we have had trouble with them for 4-5 months now).

When the building incharge refused to understand and instead asked us to submit a written application( the next day) and then they might take some action.

    We tried everything.

the lady left my flat and went to her's .

10 mins later and around 8 PMI heard loud shreaks and ran down with mum to see the lady holding her baby and with a wild temper knocked on their door till they were forced to open and screamed at them for their constant disturbance. Those boys were drunk and started being obnoxious. Then she called the police . Things didnt die down.

So mum took the baby from her and gave him to me and she was the only one from an entire building who stood by her. The others were scared to take on 4 boys.

so 2 women and 4 boys.. 8|.. and trust me Hell hath no fury( than of a mother).

Well while we waited for the police and everything.

I was trembling in my PJs.

A three month old baby.. Crying.. in my arms. Shite

I tried everything i knew and the baby wont stop.

I rocked it, I made faces to try to shock it out of crying, i got anything which made tinkling sounds to make it stop.

    It just wouldnt.

Finally I sang as last resort.. and after a few mins it worked.. I managed to put a baby to Sleep...

Well i guess the baby was tried after being up so long due to the noise

When Mum and neighbour came up they were surprised to see him sleeping like an angel..

And he sure looked like an angel.. i forgot all about the 30 mins i spent trying to stop him from crying.

    Babies sure are beautiful..

Oh and by the time the police arrived those 6th floor rowdy bunch had fled..

    aah.. all in a day's work!!

  • 'flu

Not Pig 'flu but the seasonal one.

I was down with 102 Fever and cough and the works!!!

I fell sick on Sunday(while watching Harry Potter 6 in the theater)

it was bad and i took 3 days off.. At first my boss was not ready to give me leave and insisted that I come to work and then we can discuss me going home early.

However, as i got worse my Mum stepped in and called my boss and told him ( in a no nonsence ,dont you dare mess with me tone) that my daughter is sick and under medication and in no state to work.

So Then for 3 days i was in bed.. Today I till have cough and cold but the fever had gone down so I am at work!!!

Seriously the way my Boses are i wont be surprised if they ask someone who is terminally ill to work from hospital ( illness can be no excuse to not work)

I am also certain that if I ever stated "family emergency" they would ask me " is it bad?, is your presence required?, do you think your mom can alone handle it?.

Infact one of my colleague's MIL had to undergo operation and he needed leave to go and take care of her along with wife since she was alone. My Boss actually told him ," you can drop your wife off and return the same day,why are you needed there?.Your wife can take care of her mother".

Yes folks thats how heartless they can be.

anyway.. I am better and back!!

  • All Right I give in... Ask Away

The latest thing to spread like wild fire on BCUK is "ASk me any one Question"

WEll La Spice has done it and so has Faffa. I give in.

You can ask me any one question , any at all.. and I will be honest about the answer?

*Am not not sure how many would actually like to ask me anything *

    :>>

anyway I am all yours( No Pun intended)

  • Office Gossip

    No its not a rant.

Apparently My relationship with Mr AD is the Hottest Gossip taking rounds!

One of my colleagues threw a Bachelor's party on Saturday since he is getting married this Sunday, Mr AD was invited to attend . Before the Party one of his trusted colleague(who knew about us) called him to warn him that apparently our HR team had seen us at the movies and now the info has been cascaded to Senior Managers and other Managers(with trimmings).

So Mr Ad went to the party prepared, what he was not prepared was the somewhat snide and cheap remarks made.

The guys cracked dirty(really dirty) jokes and kept asking him how he will explain the nasty terms to me when we meet.

Also a comment was made that I am probably very Horny (age difference of just a year and Men still stereotype and behave immature)

Mr AD got angry and knew they were trying to provoke him into some sort of a admission ,but he kept his cool and walked out of the party.

And thank god he did because some people cant hold their drinks and there was a fight amoing the Managers which almost came to fist fights and they broke a few drink bottles etc.

I am amazed at the totally low mentality of the Men at work!

And if someone tell's me Men dont gossip? I can shoot them because all this is between Men and Spread by Men.Even the HR Rep who saw us is a Man.

  • *skips*

    It's Friday!!!

I will be seeing Mr. AD again *skips with joy*

Oh let the day end sooooooooon :)

Its Breakfast with Mr AD at 6 AM and the weather is fantastic-its cold. Its raining and its green all around.

No longer scorching heat and landscape dull brown due to excessive heat.

    Yay!!

    Have a good one y'all.

  • Mr AD's House call

Mr AD visited my House this sunday.

We spend Saturday together and went to a cozy place for dinner. Sunday due to my moodyness and my discomfort and pain we did spend sometim out but he decided i would feel best at home.Mr Ad was Most cute with me. Taking my moodyness in stride.

So we got beers and he got food .

He and mum chatted a lot and shared the common love for Wimbledon. We watched the final games and mum talked of the games during her times.Legends of Tennis .

I was happy listening to mum and him chat.

Whenever mum went to the kitchen ,he would steal a kiss too :>>

Felt Horrible when it was time for him to go :(

  • THE MEETING

So on 1st I called by Boss and told him i have Diarrhea(so he cant ask me to take meds and come to work,he did try ofcourse)

I was at home and worked in cleaning it a bit as my house is being painted and floor polished!

The Flowers and Cake got delivered(a little late than he midnight I wanted -actual delivery time 2 PM)

Anyway, Once the workers left home mum and I got ready and by 8 PM were at this fantastic Place for dinner.

Mr AD got delayed due to traffic and reached 30 mins late but with flowers for Mum.

After that we ordered Starters and Beers and Mum & Mr AD went on 19 to a dozen. I wasnt not even allowed to talk.. I mean I didnt get the chance 8|.

Mr AD even got mum to dish out some of my childhood secrets and how mum managed to fool us(when i was away fromthe table in the ladies).

(no He and Mum arent telling me what it is)

The Evening was a huge success  ending with mum giving Mr AD a hug and inviting him home.

Mr AD then called me later in the evening and told me that the evening was great and he enjoyed meeting my mum and that the next time he comes home to pick me up he wont be staying out in the car .

    *yipeee*
