Anyway I do know she wants to "speak" (read threaten and abuse) me and wants to do it F2F..

I used to always always fail in Maths eversince around grade 5 I guess..

I never got over it and developed a Phobia of the subject( Teachers screaming and calling me a dimwit with a whole class of students sniggering didnt help)

Till date if I am calculating and no one's watching me I am okay with simple stuff.. but the moment I have someone ask me " How much percentage is this or how much cost blah blah" I go all cold and mind goes numb and blank..

Even if I know the answer I get Nervous..

I have never recovered of my phobia..

Once ex decided that I am too ditzy and wanted to teach me basics.. So he started asking me in a very strict tone and I went all cold , since I didnt answer He got irritated and screamed!

oh well thats past.. how do I get over this?

Dang! and I am sitting in front of an excel sheet which has over 15 worksheets and billing calculations in 6 figure(Pounds)

Fuck.

I had a Yahoo Photo account.

Yahoo was closing it and so asked me to migrate my account with Kodak!

I did.. But then realised I cant download my pics without paying for it first!

I mean I had lost my CD which had those pics and so wanted one on my PC.. also I have a working account on Google which I use and like..

So today paid 2 bloody dollars to have access to download off the web.. Irritating part? Have to click each of the 160 images and download manually

I feel Listless!

Dont feel like working or going out anywhere!

Emailed the team in this city(North India) that I want a re-transfer back to my Home town in Western India.

I havent told anyone about this except my mother!

Just the thought that I am leaving a certain someone behind for good..*sigh*

well cant do much about that can I? Being here or not is almost the same. Not like I meet him everyday or anything..

I called and spoke with a good friend's dad who is a criminal lawyer about the EX and Wife constantly threatning.

I told him the circumstances and of what I had done( i was honest)

He told me very clearly that they dont have a case and their threats over email is a grave they have dug for themselves and so if they lodge a complaint ... it can be nullified and backfire on them instead!!!!

Now I am at peace I have a legal backing and company backing!

Was speaking to Mum and somehow things steered towards an incident when i was about 9 years old.

I was sick(high fever) and dad hit me (a fight with mum when i tried to stop him)

Mum was telling me that night I was unconscious (maybe) and kept saying "I hate you Papa! you hit me! I hate you"! all Night while i was down with fever!

She said she took me to doc and they were afraid I would develop a negative attitude about men and so they spoke to dad to make him see sence... no change!

I was surprised to hear this.. I dont remember this at all..

Mum said that from that day onwards I never went near dad and instead my Godfather and the Doctor were caring and attentive towards me to try and show me that all Men arent bad!

I spoke to Boss yesterday( sobbed a bit while speaking on phone but not the uncontrolable types just a wavering voice and a few sniffles)

Told him how Ex and Wife and threatning ,how I am not a grad and that i lied and its my fault I did but now these people are after me to ruin it all.

This is how it went

Me: Hi boss I need to tell you something which is a very serious matter
Boss: Yes tell me I wanted to call you but since you just landed i though would give you time to rest
Me: Oh I am fine thank you!
Me: Boss I am being threatned and blackmailed each day by ex and wife.. its because I am not a grad and when ex was hiring me he asked me to lie and say I am one cause it is important that I am a grad.
Mesniffs) I know I did wrong.. but now they have been callin and threatning and i thought its better you know it from me than from anyone else.

Bosstakes a deep breath) hmm.. You told us that you are a grad?( holy Shit)
Boss: hmm now why is EX doing this?
Me: you know in 2006 when loads of things happened and you know EX has threatned back then too.. well things took an ugly turn (families involved) and i did and said things which were not nice and I regret it..

Now its revenge time for ex.

Boss: hmmm! you really need to get over your ex..

Me: Boss I havent been in touch with him since 2006 December! Trust me.

Boss: Okay now here's the plan. I dont care if you are a grad or not. You work is excellent and i have always told you that.The issue is that if it gets to HR then we might have to deal with it.
I am not making any promises PrincessF (used my real name) but I have some goodwill and standing in the company and will use it to do whatever I can.

Me: Thank you!

Boss: Now you do realise that the repurcussions could be that you may be asked to leave

Me: yes I completely understand!

Boss: but let me see what I can do. you relax now and dont worry too much

Today get a call from him early morning

Boss: PF? How are you?

Me: better, thank you!

Boss: yesterday you were very distraught so I am calling today to talk!

Me: Okay!

Boss: I spoke with Top Mangement about your issue. I can assure you ,you have nothing to worry about.If your EX & wife call and threaten again tell them that I (company) will issue an official letter to their company telling them how they are sexually and emotionally harrassing my employee.

Me: (speechless) Thank you!

Boss: I dont have to tell you that you have been one of the most dignified people I work with and your work was never in question.And you need to fight back, in the past as well you took it all and were all upset and tears! it has to stop.. fight back and dont take any bullshit from them.

Me: Okay ! I .. I I know I should!

Boss:Also you made a mistake and i hope you realise it now?

Me: Yes I know i made a few errors in judgement and i realise it!

Boss: I also dont have to explain that the people you are currently reporting to dont need to know this at all? Because they all feel they are casanova's and hung like elephants! they can take advantage!

Me: (chokes) ooh err yes I do! I just spoke to you about this.

Boss: good from now on lie a bit low and be careful, but dont worry!

Me: I understand ... thank you!

Boss: dont mention it and now how was Spain?

SHedding tears over laptop..

Just emailed boss requesting time to speak when I reach India on Monday!

Now wait till i get fired....

I am 80% sure I wil call my boss in India and speak to him and tell him the truth!

I am ready to bear the consequences(I cant live under this pressure any longer)

I know in the past when my EX had at one time threatned to ruin my career I had informed this person that time and he had managed to assure me that I am a good worker and that nothing will happen( ex used to report to him at that time)

Now i know the situation is a little more grave and I will accept his decision if he asked me to resign..

It was a fun last day with a slight issue.

I was in Puerta de Sol again and shopped and saw the Palace of the King here and loads of old buildings and the Main Madrid Square..

We got a lot of souveniers for folks back home and now am back packing and getting ready to fly...

The slight issue is:

Ex's wife emailed her threat again!!!!!

I dont know what to do... i have been under tremendous pressure here and due to which i have been slightly sick( tummy took the brunt of it all)

Now today after seeing her email again my system took its turn!

Dont know what to do but pray to god!

I have never ever in my life had so much meat in 10 years that I have had in this past week!

went out to Madrid's famous Puerto de Sol area and it is beautiful.. we are going back again tomorrow since we fly back on 20th to India.

Bought a few Souveniers( behaved liked tourists all the way)

We then were at this really old and nice restaurant and ordered Paella(chicken)

It was tasty ( but i am missing indian vegetarian food a lot now)

PS: good night all I slept 3 hours last night and am up since 6 am .. off to bed now

We have decided we cannot work in Spain anymore and need to return to India.

It has nothing to do with the country or its people -they are nice!

It's just that there is an ego clash between the client counterparts over us being a Business consultant hired to document procedures and then analyse what can be done to improve current processes and maybe even suggest to maintain technology (outsourcing)

We do this for our Client as we try to reduce manual work(example use of excel) and instead put a easy to use system in place to work on like a application.

We even suggest to take their area of pain and work on it from offshore( yes thats my dirty job but so far i havent taken anyone's job away)

What happened?

We met with this really nice IT manager and he was very nice to sit with us for 1 hour and explain the systems and technolgy ( since past week we havent been able to get anyone to give us information as CTO had banned anyone from talking to us)

Now today the CTO saw the IT Manager with us and when he left us to get back She called him to her desk (angry) told him off for meeting us and then called us and said

CTO: David will work extra today as he was found talking to you instead of working

US: We apologise we took his time and do not wish to inconvenience anyone

CTO: ooh its not your fault he should have known better and anyway i am not happy you are here and I wasnt consulted before you all landed here.

US: Can we have permission to stay in your office till 24th Jan?

CTO: No! You have till tomorrow and then leave!

Now we have returned and we all are feeling very upset over what happened with David (Said a silent prayer for him)

I am so tried after last night's brain fry session. I was up by 6 AM had a conference from 7-8 and was in office by 9 and now I am sooo darned tired i cant see straight!

I miss being hugged and held and told its okay and kiss away the weariness!

its too much to ask !!

The Manager is getting all his information and I am not getting any and I pray to anyone up there to help me out here!

I have emailed and tried but sourcing is a tricky thing and people get defensive when such things are brought up.. Manager doesnt have to do the dirty job I have to..(outsourcing) so he gets his data and I am left with nothing and my boss is going to kill me!

*sigh*

I finally managed to get my laptop working

Its such a relief now..

Today a lady from my office also landed in Madrid and to save costs we are sharing a twin room.

When she arrived I went to check her in and told the sexy Luis at the reception to do so( he smiled a wicked sexy smile) and asked in that brilliant Spanish accented english

Luis: do you wish to check her into the room you are in?

Me: oh yes its a TWIN room so please do.

Luis: no problem at all (now speaks to my colleague Brenda) Please give me your passport so I can key in your name to the room as well.

Me: (oogles at him and has naughty thoughts while noticing he has awesome fingers)

Ooh did i tell you I have a thing for Men with well kept hands and feet? well I cant see his feet but the hands were neat,tidy and well proportioned.. the only other Man whose hands and feet i absolutely adore is well.. err ..he who must not be named

okay so my laptop crashed i dont have any IT support to repair it.. and am using a shared laptop..

Madrid is cold and wet and raining..

So far i have been hit on by a senior Manager and a Client(who by the way is younger)here is how it went

(last night in a madrid hotel restraunt.)

Drinks with 3 client reps and a Sr Manager from my company.

after 2 beers exit Wanda and Nicholas as they had respective dates

I am stuck with Manager and Justin. they decide to go downtown

I was chatting with Justin of how he is of indian origin while Manager was listening..

when justin left to change for going out manager suggests :

Mgr: Princess you could get married to him..(i thought he was joking so said yeah right...)

then when Justin came back

Me: ooh nothing much my mgr seems to think i should send in an application for proposal of marriage

Me: lauged yeah i think..

(later after 2 glasses of wine)

Mgr: so Justin what kind of girl do you want to settle down with

This morning he has a massive hangover(serves him right) and now i am working on his laptop as mines kaput..

PS: the 3 guys at the reception (Emilio,Luis & Sergio) are absolutely gorgeous.

Also i had a mince cold ham sandwich and it was horrible( because i have never had ham)

but the chicken and fish here is gooood

I was there to buy a travel adaptor to plug my laptop in Madrid..

Me: Ooh Helllo I need a travek adaptor to work in Madrid is this the correct one?

Guy at Counter: You are traveling from India to Madrid you need this small plug(shows)

Me: ooh but its a 2 pin and I need a 3 pin..

Guy at counter: the 3rd pin is for earthing so it wont matter this will work 100% in Madrid..

Me: How much?

Guy at Counter: 10 euros

Me: okay pack it

Guy At counter: First visit to Spain? Vacation?

Me: yes very first and its business related

Guy at counter: but not the last... who knows you marry there?

Me: *rolls eyes* ooh I wont be that optimistic

Madrid...

Among graffiti walls the city is beautiful and the Lady at the Shuttle service very helpful and kind to get me a cab to my hotel

The cab driver also didnt know which area i was in so took 1 hour from Bajaras Airport to my reallly luxury hotel of Eurostar Zarzuela Park hotel.. its awesome

I bet you would find the bartender cute and food divine..

I had 2 glasses of wine( which went straight to my head considering I am jet lagged and have been through a 16 hour journey)

I had Pasta with chicken tossed in herbs and olive oil and frankly barely spiced considering I eat loaded with spices food.. but it was good and Now am sipping hot chocolate in my room..

sitting in my blue tank top and boyshorts waiting to dip into the bathtub ..

Aaah bliss( i can forget for one day that I am here for work)

PS: its 12 degrees C here and so bearable .. in my town in India its colder(Feels like it anyway)

I feel Mentally and emotionally drained.

The Axe is still hanging over my neck and each day I pray that things work out and that someone up there hopefully likes me enough.

Nothing has happened so far as threatned by ex's wicked wife but you never know when the Axe falls.

I have been cursing my bad luck in falling in love with EX and the entire sorry episode.. yes I blame myself.. for being blind to his various obvious faults which I overlooked..

I am now wiser and I know that I need to stay away from destructive relationships like the one I had in the past.

Past keeps haunting me and I have to somehow get away from it,but how?

I will no longer be so Honest to tell all my secrets to a person because people are mean and they take advantage of your Honesty.. its no longer avdisable to be Honest in this day and age where its a dog eat dog world.. no one can be trusted.. you never know when someone from the past can use one tiny secret to ruin your life..

I now have 3 couples who are my closest friends and who will(hopefully) never betray my trust like EX did.

Ooh I am flying to Madrid tomorrow... for 2 weeks..
